Live demonstration of power consumption on Inverter

July 14, 2009

AEC Sdn.Bhd went to demonstrate how the Panasonic Inverter fare against the non inverter. Two current measuring meters were mounted to detect the current consumption on two types of Panasonic air conditioners of similar capacity.

The first video show an non inverter unit. The current consumption is indicated at 9.5 Amp. The second video show an inverter in action.

The current consumption is indicated at around 6 Amp on the meter. If you multiply the savings by 30 days over a year, that is quite a fair bit of savings. Brunei Darussalam may have cheap power now but things may changed in the next few years as Brunei has signed an agreement with Sarawak to purchase 400 units of megawatts from the Bakun dam. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on July 12, 2009 Brunei Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Sri Setia Awang Lim Jock Seng with the Second Minister of Planning and Resource Management, Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.

Latest Panasonic Air Conditioner Models

AEC Sdn.Bhd recommends the Panasonic Inverter Technology. Why choose the Panasonic Inverter Technology? A number of advantages:

1) The DC motor in Panasonic Inverter reduces power consumption by 50 per cent as compared to conventional AC motors in other brands in Brunei Darussalam.
2) There is reduced vibration in the Panasonic Inverter units.
3) The Panasonic Inverter deploy Advanced Control Technology, called the Pulse Amplitude Moderation (PAM) and Pulse Wide Moderation (PWM), improving efficiency and savings on energy.
4) The Panasonic Inverter has rapid cooling capability that enables the unit to reach the set temperature at about 1.5 times faster than non inverter models.
5) The Panasonic Inverter has a more precise temperature control than other brands, giving you a uniform room temperature for that extra comfort.
6) Panasonic Inverter uses the new R410A refrigerant which does not damage the ozone layer of the earth.
